This is a high-quality bamboo steamer with a great selection of accessories. The included stainless steel steamer ring allows it to fit on a variety of large pots, making it versatile and easy to use.I primarily bought this for steaming dumplings but also plan to use it for vegetables and proteins. While I don’t see myself making homemade dumplings anytime soon—who knows, maybe I’ll give it a try!The kit includes everything you need: a 2-tier bamboo basket with a lid, a dumpling maker, a dumpling dough roller, a dumpling cutter, food tongs, chopsticks, four reusable silicone liners, a stainless steel bowl and spoon, a ceramic sauce dish, and the stainless steel steamer ring. It also comes with a small recipe book (focused on dumplings) and instructions for initial use and cleaning.Overall, this is a well-thought-out set with all the essentials for steaming and enjoying dumplings, plus a few extras to enhance the experience.

I ended up going back to a stainless steel steamer. but that is not due to any flaws in this, just because I like the convenience and depth that my old pot had.

Excellent quality, great value for the money, double layer steamer so it has a great capacity to steam multiple items. I do have a wok, but with the metal ring that you can set in the pan, so the bamboo steamer does not get wet. You can use pans not just a wok. It also comes with four reusable silicone mats, which makes the steaming process of items. Great so they do not stick to the bamboo. It also comes with items to make your own dumplings, I can’t believe I’ve waited so long to purchase one! Also easy to clean

We use these for steam buns in our restaurant, prior to these we’ve usually had to replace baskets every 3 months due to the bamboo hoops loosening and breaking. These ones seem a lot sturdier than previous ones with the metal ring around the top. Hoping to get longer use, will update as more time passes.

This set is very comprehensive. I’m so impressed with all the products included. All are very well made. However, there are a few caveats to note. While The bamboo material is organic and recyclable, the steamer needs priming before the first use. Need to soak in warm water and then scrub with metal scrubber for best result. There are a lot of little bamboo fringes need to be scrubbed off. Next is very important. Before dry off, an oil layer needs to be applied to the bamboo. Then dry the steamer completely before storage. The adaptor ring works but can be tricky because it slips on our 11 inch pan. Haven’t really used the other tools yet. The capacity of the steamer is good for 5-6 big buns. Things come out taste great and bun skin on the drier side. For me at least the priming process is the most time consuming part. The good thing is you only need to do it once. I also use the steamer to serve on the table directly. It looks really stylish.
