I loved this product! The steamer is made of real bamboo, which absorbs the condensation and prevents dumplings or dim sum from getting soggy. It's super lightweight and stackable, which makes it easy to use it and store it. Definitely the real deal!

we often eat at chinese restaurants and enjoy dumplings served in bamboo steamers. we used to have a bamboo steamer at home some years ago and thought it was time for a newer one.when we ordered this steamer, we thought it would be smaller. it is rather large, might be too big for a single person or a family of 2. better suited for a larger family. the steamer came with chopsticks and some plastic things, supposedly for people who never used chopsticks before. though it seems that people who are not familiar with chopsticks, would not necessarily buy this set. that aside, the set includes 2 square ceramic bowls for sauce and linings for steamer. entire set would make a nice holiday gifts for people who love all sorts of steamed dumplings.
