The blade isn’t really that sharp. The cutting through a cheddar is sub par. The pictures show it cutting carrots. Not the one I got. I’ll just use a knife, thank you very muchSo after cutting the cheddar, bits of cheese are on the blade, the top of the surface and under the tableI’d love to put it in the dishwasher just to see what happensSo I’ve decided to do just that! I’ll report back what happens

This cheese slicer works perfectly. The bottom plate makes it easy to see exactly how big of a slice you are cutting. The slicing blade cuts easily and perfectly.
