Love when these kitchen tools have their own holders that are magnetic for easy reach especially. The blades come so sharp and tight fitting against each other you can visibly see how they will be excellent at cutting. And that they disassemble into two parts for cleaning is a real plus. I have a pair of very old favorite two-piece kitchen shears but they have a heavier serrated edge that seem more like they "chew" into the food to separate it rather than being cut and the grips are so much smaller and not as comfortable (the all silver ones on the right side of the photo- see how much bigger the handles are on these new HUNTER shears, next to the magnetic sheath. The sharp, tight blades make such a clean cut, I'm liking that improvement over my old shears very much. I especially like to use these on whole crock pot boneless/skinless chicken breasts. They are a nice weight too, not too light or too heavy. Very comfortable in the hand and featured with an attached bottle opener and can pierce blade of sorts as well. And the backside of one blade has a serrated edge to use a bit like a knife and between the handles is a build-in gripper - very handy. Great full featured Product.

Very nice, exactly what I was looking for. These are identical to a pair of stainless steel kitchen shears that I bought several years ago. The first set has the Ergo Chef brand on one blade, and these have Hunter Dual brand on one blade. I had wanted another pair of "come apart" shears as my second set to replace a name-brand set that does not come apart for cleaning.Obviously the key feature of these scissors is that they come apart easily for cleaning, and assembly is just as easy. It's nice to know there is no grunge hiding between the scissor blades after cleaning.These are very strong with blades that are a bit longer than other kitchen shears I've owned. They have a slot for stripping herb leaves, a bottle opener, a screwdriver, nut cracker(?) and a bone cracker. I honestly don't use any of the secondary features, but I have no doubt they work as described.Based on my original Ergo Chef set, handwashing is recommended. You can wash in the dishwasher, but my Ergo Chef brand would develop surface rust spots over time. A green scrub pad cleans them up back to original condition, but I got tired of doing that every other month so I just hand wash them now.As a bonus, these shears come with a magnetic holder. The holder works great on the side of my fridge. I have a magnetic bar that I used for the scissors and some utilitarian knives (a less expensive Henkel's series of serrated steak knives), but the magnetic sheath works so well I might continue to use it.

I love that the scissors are two separate pieces so you can clean them well. Just remember that before fully opening them, as I did and inadvertently allowed one piece to fall (on my big toe). Very sturdy and seems to be durable, so far.

I love these kitchen scissors. The white color matches the knifes in my knife block and they fit nicely in one of the slots. They are durable and clean up well in the dishwasher.
