I really like these mini ice cube trays. The small spheres of ice are so satisfying and wonderful for my morning coffee.I don't use ice in many things, so it's not a huge deal for me as I've seen other reviewers mention.I like how easy it is to get the ice out of the trays. Plus the storage box and ice scoop really make this a nice set.My main complaint is that it's a bit of a learning curve figuring how much water is needed to make a perfect sphere without overfilling the trays.I still recommend these trays over all, but these may not be the ice trays for you if you use a lot of ice.

I made the mistake the first time of not making sure I had pressed the top down all the way to beet the bottom part of the tray when making the first batch. There are small holes in the top of the little spheres on the top part of the tray to allow overflow to come out. Push the top tray all the way down, and the excess will come through. Make sure you push it all the way down, or all the spheres will be connected together in one big sheet.Once I got the hang of it, I find these trays to be fantastic. They release so easy. Easy to fill, easy to dump. Nice, small, clean (cubes?) (ice spheres?) well, great way to have ice anyway. My wife uses ice every day to make her smoothies in the morning, and smaller bits of ice (hah! got away from saying cube or sphere!) make it easier to run the blender, and a lot less noise. Even with her using it every day, I can fill it in the morning and evening and still fill the bucket within a couple of days, so I don't have to fill it daily anymore. It makes more ice than I initially realized.This is priced a bit on the high side for ice trays, but standard, cheap ice trays are usually much more difficult to work with. These are hands down the easiest I've ever worked with, and I've tried a LOT over the years.You also get the bucket which has a lid, and a small (very small) ice scoop. The scoop is great to keep the ice sanitary and to keep your hands from freezing. You don't need a large scoop for this size ice.

the video online shows someone freezing fruit in these, but they are too small to freeze fruit in them. The blueberries would have to be super small. What I have wouldn't fit. It took 3 trays of these to fill a 20oz glass. Not worth the trouble

This tray setup is so cute. Love these ice trays, they are perfect for my ice coffees/lattes. I love that the plastic container can hold a great amount of ice. It doesn’t take up too much room in the freezer… very nice size.

PROS: the 3 ice ball trays fit perfectly inside the ice bin, which does have a lid. The trays are good quality and work as they should.CONS: these 3 trays only make enough ice to fill maybe 1/3 of the bin. It takes a lot of effort to make enough ice to fill the bin, especially if you use ice on a regular basis. It’s also hard to determine how much water to put in each tray because there isn’t a mark on the sides like on other ice ball sets I own. The ice balls were also a little tricky to remove from the trays - it took repeated twisting to remove every last one of them.OVERALL: I love the idea, but I think some simple fixes would make this a better set - like having 2-3 more trays so the bin can be filled without making 3 batches of ice. A fill line mark on the sides of the bottom trays would be helpful. The little ice balls are cute, but impractical for regular use.

My ice machine was down so I ordered this to hold us over. My kids love the little round balls, as do I, the only problem is they want to use the ice so much that we can’t keep the little ice bin full and are constantly refilling it. No problem there, as it’s easy to fill and easy to remove from the tray. The tray and bin are not huge, so they don’t take up too much space. The ice comes out perfectly and are fun to look at. Super functional ice tray!
