Double Sieve Honey Strainer
Enhance your beekeeping experience with VIVO's honey strainer (BEE-V101H) featuring double-sieve to progressively filter out debris. The double straining allows you to process a smooth, consistently light-colored liquid that doesn't solidify as quickly as unstrained honey. Made of stainless steel material, this product measures approximately 9 inches in diameter and 4 inches in depth.
Double Stainless Steel Filter System
This quality strainer is designed with two separating screens for effective honey filtering and is made of 201 stainless steel which is durable, highly resistant to rust and oxidation, and easy to clean.

This worked about as well as you would expect. It does a good job of straining and separating the wax from the honey and fit right over top of my 5 gallon bucket. The flow rate that it filtered things was as expected

These are pretty good for the price. I kept the product box to store them in because the mesh in the lower part already got dented from my own mishandling. I'll store it in the box and hopefully keep it intact for a while. Easy to clean with a hose, the bees do a lot of the work anyway...

Love this strainer. It’s made of high quality materials, great price for what you get and works incredibly well. Having the double strainer means I only have to strain my honey once. The sliding supports on the side make it usable to sit on top of any size container. Happy with this purchase

This simple strainer set works great and is well worth it. The only thing I'd suggest is that you buy more than one if you are processing a lot of honey. The bits of wax can plug off the screens so it's good to have a second one to swap out. My first time processing I only had one and it worked just fine but a second one would have been nice. Although they look fairly light duty it's stood up very well.

This is a very study and well designed sieve. I use it to filter honey from a radial extractor that goes into a container used for bottling honey. Since the extractor often slings parts of comb, this sits on top of the container and filters all honey prior to bottling.The top layer of sieve is more porous and the second level is a finer filter. It catches everything. The expandable arms make it a good sturdy fit on top of whatever container you are using and maintains a relative low profile to get under any kind of honey gate you have.The construction is of good quality stainless. I usually let the bees do the first level of cleaning (leave it by the hive for 24 hours) and then a quick soapy rinse and you are done until next harvest.My only suggestion is that if you are doing more than about 5 gallons (one hive), get two of these -- one for each 5 gallon container. That way when one is full, you can clean the sieve of debris while the other is doing its thing so you dont waste time on your harvest. Rotate back and forth as you clean them out to keep the honey flowing.

Great two-part strainer for honey. The top part of the strainer is a coarse mesh that catches the large particles before the honey (or other liquid) flows into the much finer mesh in the second level. The top part of the strainer is removable. For cleaning I set the strainer on the ground in front of my beehives, they cleaned up within 12 hours and no additional clean up work on my part was required.I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the extension rods were pretty wobbly. It doesn't appear to have had a negative impact on real world use, but it is something to be careful about if you're using this over something wider than a 5 gallon bucket. I would definitely recommend this strainer and would buy it again.
