I have been restringing my own spools. Between the cost of the string, the gas it costs to go to the store and the effort it takes to restring the spools this purchase is a no brainer for me. Also, the braided string lasts longer. It’s especially noticeable when trimming along the concrete edge of my driveway. As a bonus they throw in a spool cover to replace older worn ones. I’m amazed any company can sell 6 fully strung spools and a cover, ship it and make a profit.

Fits great on the trimmer but I can no longer tap the bottom to release the string. I have to manually take the bobbin out and unwind. Huge pain. String is a good strength.
