It is good quality and works on my older Lenovo laptop, I’m giving it 3 stars bc it does not work on Chromebooks and when u first plug it in it does not pick it up, you have to go into settings and find it to install it.

It does what it's supposed to.Cons, it uses 2 USB ports and 1 has to be direct to PC, can't use a multi port adapter, so keep this in mind if you get one.

As you know, computers don't include CD/DVD/Blue ray drives any longer. Yes, I am still using my Blue Ray/DVD and CD library. Everything doesn't need to be streamed! And this thing works perfectly on my windows system. No setup, no drivers, just plug & play. Going to try it on my Mac too. Very happy with it.

I needed a good stand alone disc drive with USB2 connectivity to use with an aging laptop. This drive met all my requirements as stated. It did come with minimal instructions, but it's universally standard technology made setup and use a breeze.

plays most of my blu rays and DVD but not all... I have another blu-ray drive that plays all discs with no problems but this one doesnt play all.
